First Engagement Workshop
On Friday, April 29th, 2022 the Center for Applied Hydroclimate Science held a workshop to introduce their core mission, and their current research, service, and outreach activities. The event was held both in-person and online. View some photos from the event and the original agenda below.

The workshop consisted of:
- An introduction to CAHS's core vision and mission, and current research service and outreach activities.
- Brainstorming sessions to
- formulate the research focus groups for the center and discuss possible funding opportunities, and
- how CAHS can serve as a facilitating mechanism for collaborative projects in applied hydrometeorological science across the university.
- A lunch presentation summarizing the recently completed Lower Santa Cruz Basin study, as a successful example of the type of work CAHS would like to conduct. The tentative presenter will be Eve Halper from the US Bureau of Reclamation.
