Dr. Hsin-I (Shin-E) Chang is a climate scientist specializing in regional climate modeling in the arid and semi-arid regions. Her main research interests include understanding the variability of extremes at weather and climate time scales, influence of climate change on monsoon variability and large scale teleconnections. Dr. Chang's climate research outcome also led to translation of complex scientific findings for decision making, for public and private sectors.
